The Importance of Dads
Have you asked yourself – or even found yourself searching – how to be a better father?
Fathers have an impact on their children throughout their lives. We at The Father Center aim to improve our children’s lives by empowering fathers, men, and families to achieve self-sufficiency. Parenting is a skill that can be learned – and our family support services and programs enable fathers to learn it in a comfortable and non-judgmental environment, alongside other fathers.
141 men completed Bridges to Success in 2018. More than a third are now earning over $16 per hour. 44 men completed Parenting and Anger Management classes and 67 received assistance with child support.
Families are the building blocks of our community. We hope that you will join us today – whether as a program participant, volunteer, or donor, we can all do more to support our families and our community.
